About Anthony
Originally born in London, I have lived in Yorkshire for the past 13 years. Photography has been my main interest since my twelfth birthday when I saved up all my money and bought myself my first camera - a 110 film camera. I quickly progressed onto 35mm SLRs and now use digital SLRs. I have now been taking photos for over 30 years.
I love travel which allows me to combine two of my favourite passions - seeing interesting new places and being able to take photographs of them! I lean mainly towards landscape photography but will never pass on an opportunity to try something new and take photographs of different subjects.
I'm not impressed by people who tell me what to think about their photographs, nor people who spend more time worrying about their gear than actually taking photographs. A good photograph speaks for itself and could have been taken on any brand of camera and with any make of lens. It's the final photograph that is important.
Other interests
I love travel - the world is a big place, there is a lot to see and I have a list of places as long as your arm that I would like to visit. Luckily, the UK has an astonishing variety of locations and scenery so it is not always expensive or time consuming to get to great photographic opportunities.
